elmex dental floss is the ideal partner to daily toothbrushing with an elmex caries protection toothpaste. Use the dental floss to remove plaque thoroughly yet gently from the interdental spaces and the gum margins.

elmex dental floss is impregnated with amine fluoride which is released to the dental enamel during the cleaning process. Amine fluoride strengthens the enamel and inhibits the build-up of plaque bacteria. This protects the teeth from caries and the gums from inflammation (gingivitis). elmex dental floss is available both waxed and unwaxed.

Instructions for use:
1. Pull about 50 cm elmex dental floss from the dispenser, break it off, wrap it around the middle fingers and pull tightly over the thumb (upper jaw) or index finger (lower jaw).

2. Insert the dental floss between the teeth with light sawing motions.

3. Form the dental floss into a U shape around half of the tooth and clean the interdental space with up and down movements, then clean the adjacent half of the next tooth.

Repeat steps 1 to 3 with a new length of dental floss.
